To perform a tune-up I access your computer either in your home or 'remotely' through a 'secure, licensed' program.  The remote access procedure takes around 5-10 minutes for which there is no charge.  My rate is a very competitive $60/hr for individuals and $75 for business clients.  This rate has been in effect for over 3 years.

Unfortunately, most of the new spyware/viruses operate in the background... eating up system resources and slowing down the computer.  In the past year, every computer I've worked on has had some level of security problem ranging from mild to severe (and the owners weren't even aware of the problems).

I can only access your computer remotely if you have a Broadband connection (DSL or CABLE).  If you have Dial-Up service I cannot do a remote tune-up.  In that case,  I suggest you call in a reputable local technician.
