ABOUT SUMNER
SUMNER is a graduate Chemical Engineer from Tufts University with a Master’s Degree from the University of Buffalo. A Boston native, his work career began with DuPont and ended with his retirement from Borden Inc. where he worked for 32 years. During that time he moved up the ladder from Development Engineer to an Executive Vice President of the Borden Corporation. His final assignment put him in charge of a 500 million dollar global business with 3,500 employees.
He became interested in computers shortly after joining DuPont and has had a continuing passion for the subject. In recent years he blended another of his hobbies, water color painting, with the computer and has become proficient in creating beautiful Computer Art. Some of his computer art is in the permanent collection of the Boynton Beach, Florida Jewish Community Center.
Sumner, author of ‘Windows Without The Pain’, has lectured extensively at communities in South Florida on the subject of Identity Fraud and the Internet. His presentation is informative and enjoyable, incorporating ‘magic’ into the talk. He’s available to speak to clubs ‘at no charge’ on this important subject. Lectures to business groups can be arranged.
His computer services cover all facets of the computer experience from purchase guidance
(at no cost) to installation, networking, tutoring, tune-ups, problem solving, and
web design. Once an individual becomes a client, he provides ‘free’ Email technical
support. He recently relocated to Massachusetts from Florida.
